Indexed CartiGen Bioreactor Chamber (http://www.tissuegrowth.com/prod_icart.cfm): The Indexed CartiGen bioreactor chamber for tissue research was designed to apply oscillatory compressive stimulation to 1 or multiple disc shaped samples. Designed for use with the TC mechanical stimulator, it includes the following features:
• 12 individual bioreactor chambers
• Maximum sample size: 20 mm diameter by 10 mm thick. Check with TGT if multiple specimens are to be considered for the chamber.
• All chamber components are bio-inert and of materials that can be steam sterilized at 121 oC and 17-20 psi.
• Chamber can be customized for individual sample wells to accommodate different media conditions
• Media volume – 15 ml
• To facilitate gas exchange, the chambers feature a clear, gas permeable silicone membrane integrated with the lid as well as a 0.2 micron filter connected via a luer fitting
CartiGen C10-12 Bioreactor Chamber (http://www.tissuegrowth.com/prod_cartilage.cfm): The CartiGen bioreactor chamber for tissue research was designed to apply oscillatory compressive stimulation to multiple disc shaped samples. Designed for use with the TC mechanical stimulator, it includes the following features:
• Bioreactor chamber provides oscillatory compressive stimulation of up to 12 samples
• Chambers can be populated with fewer than 12 samples
• Maximum sample size: 8 mm diameter by 5 mm thick
• All chamber components are bio-inert and of materials that can be steam sterilized at 121 oC and 17-20 psi.

• Each well holds up to 2 ml of media

This chamber includes modifications to the standard to accommodate directed sample perfusion. Designed for use with the TC Mechanical Stimulator, it includes the following features
• Bioreactor chamber providing oscillatory compressive stimulation of up to 9 tissue samples. Remaining 3 sample wells will be modified to accommodate perfusion loop and will not be available for sample placement.
• Chambers can be populated with fewer than 9 samples
• Maximum sample size - 8mm diameter by 5mm thick
• All chamber components are bio-inert and of materials that can be steam sterilized at 121 oC and 17 - 20 psi.
• Each well holds up to 2ml of media
• Each chamber can be adapted to deliver specific static compression for control samples
• Unique diaphragm seal enables mechanical motion input to the sample compartment while preserving the biological environment and motion fidelity.
• Perfusion Modification: Porous platen integrated with bottom of the chamber permits perfusion through the constructs. Flow is directed but not confined through the construct.
